NZeroC AI has been selected for the US National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps program — a federally funded, deep-tech commercialisation program. Selection requires demonstrated scientific merit, a credible commercialisation path, and commitment to intensive customer discovery, including over 100 direct industry interviews during the program.

For NZeroC AI, the validation has come not just from the program itself but from the industrial executives and operators engaged through it. Senior leaders from oil and gas, mining, and manufacturing have confirmed directly what the data already shows: unplanned downtime, workforce safety failures, and the inability to act on operational data in real time are among the most urgent and expensive unsolved problems in their industries — and existing cloud-based approaches cannot reach where these operations run.

That field validation, combined with backing from MIT Sandbox, the MIT Martin Trust Center, and MIT Research Labs, sharpens the conviction behind NZeroC AI's industrial edge AI platform — purpose-built to run AI models, autonomous agents, and real-time intelligence inside remote facilities, where connectivity is unreliable and the cost of delayed decisions is measured in lives and lost millions.

"The guidance from NSF I-Corps and from experienced industrial leaders has reinforced that we are solving the right problem, in the right place, at the right time." — Sidhant Kumar, Founder & CEO, NZeroC AI · MIT Engineer
